Some of My Favorite Youtube Videos

Cuff the Buff

I wrote this On Cinema at the Cinema fan song after the 7th Annual On Cinema Oscar Special and recorded this video back in the beginning of February 2020. I was later working in a studio at my college to produce it with a lot of exciting instruments and more epic vocals, but that studio was closed for the rest of the year, of course because of COVID-19, however, this is the first recording I did of its first draft. I have changed and added a couple small things since this recording, so this is more like a song seed.

Nothing (Cover)

I learned Nothing from Tim Heidecker's album "Fear of Death" because I fell in love with it almost immediately. At first it reminded me of my dog who at the time had just recently passed away. Took me a real hot minute to learn but this one sounds pretty dang good! This little cover describes how meaningless I feel in this big wide world.

Pink Lemonade

Sort of a WIP. I want to add more instruments later and finish it off in Ableton perhaps, but this is Pink Lemonade. I'm pretty proud of this one! It's about a date I went on with a person who ended up being very unstable. I had ordered a glass of pink lemonade, and now when I drink it, I'm reminded of that person and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Work from Home (Cover)

I had to sing this because I just love this whole album and this song is in my top 3 faves. I had to practice it for about a month which is why I hadn't uploaded this sooner because singing and playing is definitely not the easiest thing in the world!

Ocean's Too Cold (Cover)

I had been learning and practicing the absolute crap out of this song for several months before posting this, and it was SO WORTH IT! This has become almost my favorite song of all time. When I first heard it, I had a very strong emotional reaction to it that I haven't had from a song for a long time. Thanks for listening, I poured my all into this cover and I practiced it for months on end.

Just Stay Sane

I wrote this song about 30 minutes after hearing that my grandmother had tested positive for COVID-19. It's pretty bare-bones but it was a good way for me to document my feelings. I am glad to report that despite having a very difficult time battling it, she recovered and is doing well now! She was very honored by the song :)
